Definite pick for weekend would be heading to Birmingham for this weekend's High-Five Fest, starring a reunion of Auburn's own QUADRAJETS (w/Auburn's own JR Collins currently of The Acrostics) - not to mention probably the greatest regional band BAR NONE - Chattanooga's own mighty BOHANNONS?  With food by something called The Barbecutioners, how could you possibly go wrong?


SHOUT!

ALSO -it is early, but not to early to be planning for August 28-30th SHOUT & Sidewalk Film Festivals.  Too bad we don't have more public Queer culture here in the Auburn/Opelika area, but that's why god gave us the internet, search engines, vehicles and whatnot, until our own region can represent just as well!  In the meantime, drive over for it, you'll feel better about yourself & humanity in general for doing so.
